I didn't have time to blog yesterday. Totally ruined the nice statistics. Well, can't really do anything about it now. Today we went down to Scheveningen, the beach in Den Haag. Beaches in Holland is something completely different than beaches in Norway. Beaches in Holland is long beach promenades with restaurants, bars and souvenir shops and really nice sand. Of course it's a lot nicer to be at the beach in July than in December, but no matter the weather it was a nice trip to the beach today. The Pier in Scheveningen is well known. It got two floors and the bottom one has restaurants and bars and for the holidays there were some kind of Christmas shops. The top floors is all outdoors and you can bungy jump too. Bungy jumping wasn't tempting us in the wind, so we kept indoors. We ate lunch at a pancake house, and had real Dutch pancake with bacon, mushrooms, onion and cheese. I also tried to take some nice pictures of the cowl I just finished. That wasn't easy in the wind. Every photo comes out with me having some of my hair underneath on of my eyes so it looks like I have a black eye. The cowl looks nice, though. The yarn is such a lovely yarn, so soft and I would really like some more. I would like to knit the hat in the same yarn and color, so if you have a skein I would like to buy it. It's Tjukk Kos from Tulliball in the colorway Lumpen. Alewives Cowl is a pattern from the Indie Design Gift Along 2015. I also took some picture of the cowl with the lovely view we have from the apartment here in Den Haag.

21. December
I Scheveningen er The Pier veldig kjent.
