Traditional Marius

I've knitted a traditional Norwegian sweater, Marius. It's an order and maybe not the original traditional pattern since I've used raglan. I used Drops alpaca and needles 3,25 mm.

My final gift from Secret Pal 16 came earlier this week as well. I didn't understand it at first since the package was ordered from a shop and shipped directly to me. I couldn't remember that I ordered something, but then I saw that somebody paid and shipped it to me. That's so nice! I love the yarn, Knit Picks sock yarn and the markers are so cute, it says Made with love on them. Thank you so much my secret pal.

Feeling Blue?

No, I'm absolutely not feeling blue! I've just finished my Ishbel shawl, and I managed to finish it during one and a half week. I'm proud of that, since I'm a bit new to knitting shawls. This shawl was quite easy for a new beginner. It started with a big bit of stockinette stitch. I chose to knit the shawl bigger than the pattern said, since I used thinner yarn than in the pattern. I'm glad I did or I would've had a very small shawl now! I used needles 3,5 mm and shawls yarn from Tulliball. I don't know the name of the color since I got it to test knit with, but I love the colors, blue and black. It's amazing how much work I've done and the whole shawl weighs just 63 grams. A bit disappointing!

I've also got a new gift from my Secret Pal 16. I still don't know who it is, but I love this gift. So cute, and I love the Twilight key-thing to have on my back pack! Usually I use it, but had to take it off for the picture! Thank you so much!
