Well, at least I can walk around in a blue sweater soon. It's the first time I knit a sweater top-down and knit the sleeves before the yoke. It's easier to knit the sleeves when yoke is not knit yet, but the main reason why I knit the sweater this way is because I want the sweater to be long. Since I don't use a pattern, I have no idea how much yarn I'm going to use. By knitting top-down, I can knit until I'm out of yarn. That's why I knit the sleeves first as well. I want the sleeves to be long, and not stop until they reach my wrists. Then when I knit the yoke, I can keep knitting until I'm empty of yarn. Now, I don't think I'll run out of yarn before I reach the length I would like. So far I've used 100 g of yarn. One sleeve took about 50 g. I have about 350 g, I think, so I can actually knit a dress, I think. I use needles 5,5 mm and Drops Air.
