Well, the title doesn't really fit this day other than I finished a pair of grey socks today. Today it has actually been blue sky and a shining sun, something which is normally nice. Today it was a bit sad, since the sun meant the snow is melting too fast. I just hope a bit more cold and snow before Jack Frost says goodbye for this time. I like snow a lot better than grey weather with rain and mud. No matter the weather, I finished a pair of socks today. They didn't take long to knit. I guess the cable on each side of the foot makes it faster to knit. I think the cables serve the same purpose as stripes. Just one more cable ... The pattern was easy to memorize, so it was the perfect knitting to put in the purse. This pattern is a toe-up pattern. It's been so long since I've knitted toe up socks. I guess it got something with me not being able to figure how to make the right size, as I mentioned in the last blog post. This pattern has a genius heel, and it made me understand when to start knitting the heel to get the right size. The socks fit perfect, and I knitted them quite long as usual. These socks are for me, and I guess I'll be knitting more toe ups from now. Regia Silk on needles 2,5 mm and the pattern is Cabley Goodness Top Down Toe Up by Erin Case.

Grey Day
God helg!
