Knitting has started!
Stairway to heaven - Tulliball yarn makes you happy!Våppi.
How do I sum up a weekend like this? It's the third time Knitting meeting in Oslo has been arranged. This year we were 150 knitters. As usual the talking has been a continuous flow, just interrupted by laughter and of course shopping. And yes, Arne and Carlos managed to silence all 150 while they held their inspiring and funny speech. They also brought their books, and I bought their new book, Make Your Own Idea Book. This year I helped out at the Tulliball yarn stand selling their yarn. Tulliball is not hard to sell at all, and the yarn is soft, squishy and have real fun color ways name, like Valium or Locked Inside The Store For 4 Hours. I ended up buying some skeins myself as well. I have no idea what to knit yet, but something nice for sure. I also bought two skeins from Norne Yarn. I think they will be a light summer cardigan to myself. Garnkurven sold a lot, but I ended up with a rainbow colored Opal with glitter. Snella and Petronella sold buttons, and Gry Hege, who arranged the whole weekend, sold hand sewn project bags, Maskepigen sold yarn as well. How much did I knit during the weekend? Surprisingly little. I packed six projects, but I only finished upt the Sock Madness socks and started a shawl. But it has been a weekend filled with laughter, talking, inspiration and some knitting! Thank you, Gry Hege who arranged the whole weekend, and thank you to everyone showing up making it a great weekend! And especially thank you to Anitha who showed up as a surprise and made sure we could take the traditionally selfie.
