SAD!

Vanligvis pakker jeg mer strikketøy og garn enn klær. Vanligvis har jeg med halve bagen full av garn. Denne gangen var i grunnen ikke noe unntak. Borte nesten tre dager, pakket ermet på en genser og raglanfellingen på en kofte. Vurderte om jeg skulle ta med garn til et par sokker også, men begrenset meg. Ikke så mye strikketid. Jeg angrer! Aner ikke hva jeg tenkte da jeg pakket. Jeg glemte nemlig å ta med mønsteret jeg har tegnet til ermet. Fikk strikket omtrent 7 omganger før det var stopp. Det er jo kjekt om mønsteret på ermet faktisk er det samme som jeg har strikket på bolen. I gang med kofta. Felte til ermehull og satt ermene innpå. Tok en titt på mønsteret og oppdaget at den første mønsterfargen var hvit. HVIT! Hadde jeg tatt med meg hvitt garn? Nei! Det betydde at jeg kun hadde noen få omganger jeg kunne strikke på det prosjektet også. Og ingen mer strikking ... SAD! Minn meg på at neste gang jeg pakker, så pakker jeg nok prosjekter. Det kan aldri bli for mange prosjekter eller for mye garn. Tydeligvis! Eller kanskje bare huske å sjekke at alt jeg trenger til et prosjekt jeg har pakket faktisk også er pakket.

Still happy - haven’t discovered I forgot the pattern ...

All my knitting in three days - about 15 rows together. 

 

Usually I pack more knitting projects and yarn than I pack clothes. Usually half of my bag is full of yarn. This time wasn't any exception. Gone for almost three days, packed a sleeve for a sweater and the raglan yoke for a jacket. I thought about bringing yarn for a pair of socks as well, but made me not pack it. Not that much time to knit! I strongly regret! I have no idea what I thought about when I packed. I forgot to bring the pattern I draw for the sleeve. I knitted about 7 rows before I had to stop. It would be nice if the pattern on the sleeve is the same as the pattern I knitted on the body. Started the jacket I brought with me. I decreased for sleeves and put the sleeves on the same needles as the body. Glanced at the pattern and the first contrast colour is white. WHITE! Did I bring any white yarn? No! Which meant I only could knit a few rows on this project as well. No more knitting ... SAD! Next time I pack remind me to pack enough projects. It can obviously never be too many projects or too much yarn. Obviously! Or maybe I should just remember to check I got everything I need for the projects I actually packed.
