September already and definitely fall. Fall can be good as well, and I'm saying it in the most convincing way I can. I'm such a summer person who loves the sun and the heat, and I get moody by short days and the cold. This fall is a bit different, since I have so many good things to look forward to. In about fourteen days I'm off to Denmark at a knitting festival, and in about one and a half month I'm off to the USA at a knitting festival. Don't mind the fall coming at all. Almost. Knitting festivals means a lot of knitting, a lot of talking, a lot of nice people and a lot of yarn temptations. I hope to resist the temptation in Denmark, but then go totally wild in the USA. I have to fill up two suitcases with something, right? And that's the reason why I'm knitting as fast as I can to reduce the yarn stash before it's time to fill it up again. I made my goal in Stashdash, 15K. Not just from my stash, but also a couple of orders. It helped a lot to finish the crochet blanket I've been using two years to put together. Or more correctly, used two years procrastinating putting together. I have some projects off the needles now, but I have to take some decent photos of them. That is going to be harder and harder from now on, since the days are getting shorter and shorter. I have finished two pairs of socks, which both made it to Stasdhash. Another glittery rainbow socks and a pair in Regia. I have also testknitted a pair of mittens for Eli behind the podcast Skeindeer Knits. The mittens turned out great, and I recommend the pattern. The pattern is not published yet, but I believe she will release it soon. I knitted my mittens in Finull from Rauma.
