I have just finished my March-socks. They aren't too big as I first thought they were going to be, but they perfectly. I thought about trying to knit to identical socks, but as the second sock proceeded, I'm very happy I didn't attempt identical socks. As it turned out, halfway on sock number two, the coloring changed and were suddenly the excact opposite compared to what it had been previously. In additonal two dark stripes appeared, and they are absent on sock number one. Long live lacyness, so now I have two different socks, but I didn't waste any time trying to get them identical.
I haven't joined the hat-along going on in Hobbyboden, but sometimes I get really tempted by the patterns. The March-hat is so lovely, so I just had to knit it. I used a skein of Lett Lopi, which was a leftover yarn from Klukka. The strange thing is that the hat doesn't itch, but the dress does a bit. Anyway, it's nice to have a itch-free hat.
I visited a little, cosy hobbyshop in Oslo today. Closing sale, and that's sad. The other sad thing is that I didn't know it before today, and the sale had been going on since February. They were almost out of yarn, but I bought the last four skeins. I also bought some buttons and a roll of red silk tie?
