Knit and listening or Knit and drink?
Here's my Marius sweater. This is the yoke. I knitted a couple of cm on the yoke before I started the first arm.Since it's still summer according to the calendar, the library in Oslo moved Knitting and listening to Sukkerbiten. It's not that hot and warm, but not too cold either. Anyway it blew enough that I observed many knitting ladies wearing woolen jackets today. the lady from the Library read parts of The Summerbook by Tove Janson. It's a book I haven't read yet, but one I've wanted to read for a while. Maybe I should read it during the fall? We also listened to a part of another book by her, but I can't remember the name of it. At the end we listened to Sinners in Summertime by Sigurd Hoel. I read that book years ago, and of course I felt the urge to reread it. It's real nice listening to somebody reading for you, but I have to admit it takes a lot of concentration from my side to listen carefully. and I have to admit I look forward to Knitting and listening is back at the location at the library again. They have decent chairs there, and at Sukerbiten there's only plastic chairs. I know that's the age kicking in. My knitting tonight was Marius sweater in Drops alpaca on needles 3,25 mm, and I knitted a good part of the first arm. Nice company and nice arrangement, at least.
Yesterday I finished a couple of socks in Opal. They are knitted in size 38 on needles 2,5 mm. I think they're the fourth pair I knit using Opal in this particular color combination.
