The little black dress every woman should own? It's not for me, and it might not qualify for the little black dress, but it is black and it is a dress. I have knitted this pattern before, so it's not a big problem to follow the pattern. Thick needles makes the knitting go a lot faster. A thread alpaca and a thread Muskat cotton, pattern from Drops.

I have also finished another pair of Mitered Mittens by E.Z. These are also knitted in Smart. These mittens are mighty popular, and I still have friends who wish they had a pair, but I really don't think I could knit another pair. Knitted a number of mittens before Christmas, but you have to draw the limit somewhere, and I think my limit is here now. I might knit more of those later, but a lot later I think.
Some things are just meant to be knitted in numbers. Fishy is obvisioly one of them. My daughter had to get one as well. She chose the colors herself from my stash. Great project to use from my stash.
I'm still knitting on my Retro Rib Socks. I hope to finish them during the weekend.

Yup, my first toe-up-socks knitted with two circular needles are finished. Had to frog the first attempt, but then I learned to start the increasing for the heel a lot earlier. Knitting the heel was so much easier this time than the attempt with the Godzilla-socks as well. I knitted through the back loop when I knitted two together at the heel and the resault was a lot better. I used Regia Fasett and love the colors.

My tunica is growing, and I have started knitting the first arm. I'm measuring and trying it on to get it to fit me. I don't like the arms too long, but they can't be too short either. It's a bit hard to get it right since I changed the pattern to raglan. But it's almost finished. I'm really looking forward to wear this tunica.

Let me tell you, "everybody" knit Thermis, and I'm not an exception. Here's mine in white, knitted in alpaca from Drops. Delicate, warm and a fast knit. I so wish I'd discovered it before Christmas. Bet you it would be under a lot Christmas trees, then. Maybe next Christmas?
I have finished the suit from Nøstebarn, only missing the buttons. Have to buy buttons tomorrow. I think I've been a good girl finishing things I "have" to do, so now it's time to knit something fun, something I want to knit.
I started on an easy pair of sock in Regia for me. Great colors, easy to knit and I'm in a big need of more socks. It's just too cold at the moment. When the temperatures sink below minus 10 degrees Celsius, it's just freezing. Wishful thinking; minus 5 degrees Celsius and loads of snow.
I've weighed and counted my yarn. It's a bit more than I thought and absolutely not less than last year at the same time, even though I don't really know how much I've used this year. Right now my stash is excactly 20800 grams.
A new year, a lot of possibilities. I had big plans to start 2009 with empty knitting needles and no UFO's. Well, that didn't quite work out the way I planned. I still have some UFO's, but I have finished some projects. My Mermaid was finished 25th of December. It's not a great picture, but I didn't have much time to take the picture. Maybe I'll take another one later. The receiver of the present was happy, even though I finished a bit late.
I have knitted these fingerless mittens. The yarn is Drops Alpaca and the pattern is
My daughter wanted a dress, so I knitted her one. Well, not the whole truth, since both yarn and pattern was bought at Dale's factory in September. It took a while before I had time to start the project, but between Christmas and New Years Eve I finally had the time. It didn't take that much time either. What I actually used most time to do, was to wait for the shops to open. I was one skein short, and since the stores are closed 25.th and 26.th. of December, I had to wait two days before I could finish it. Now it's done and ready to use at school tomorrow.
I have also knitted another pair of mittens. Knitted in Sisu.
Another Nøstebarn-suit. Not much to say about it, but I'm done soon and then I'm going to start on another more exciting project.
Gratulerer, Kaos! Pakken kommer i posten, eller egentlig kan jeg kanskje overlevere den på første S'nB, for det kan hende vi ses der først?
The peaceful atmosphere of Christmas is just around the corner. Almost everything is ready, I just have to do some last minute cleaning. And I have one Christmas present I haven't finished yet, but I hope to make it before it's time to open the presents. The Mermaid jacket took a bit longer to knit than I thought. But I have finished the vest. It's knitted in Sisik, size 7 years.
I think I can show you this present now. It's a Soul hat in Alpaca, Helene-mittens in Alpaca and socks in Fabel.

A while ago a person at Hobbyboden dared us to show something we loved. I love this Christmas ornament. I've had it for a long time. It's cute and it was a gift from a friend.
