A sign of spring is Sock Madness. Sock Madness is a competition where knitters compete in knitting a pair of socks the fastest. There are rounds, there are teams and it will be a winner at the end. All the sock patterns in the competition are not published previous. And of course there are a lot of chatter at the Ravelry forum, and a lot of waiting for a new pattern to be published. Of course it's speed knitting and how to prioritize time? Or actually it is the question of how to clear most of your every day life to have enough time to your knit-socks-the-fastest-I-can-life. The competition is in its eleventh year, and the first pattern is already out. The first pattern gives the contestants 14 days to finish a pair of socks. After the first round, we are divided into teams. The pattern was published a week ago, but I haven't had time to start until today. I hope to finish the pair before time is up.
