Tomorrow morning I'm going to London. I'm really looking forward to it. I have already printed a list over yarn shops in London, but I don't think I'll be able to visit them all. But a few of them I'll manage to visit. Hopefully I will get some time to knit as well.

I have knitted on demand lately, a Nøstebarndress for my nephew, Colorjacket for a friend and My so called scarft. Don't know who's getting the scarf, but am thinking of giving it to the employees in the kindergarden where my kids are going. Maybe I'll knit scarves for everyone this year? It's tempting, since scarf is easy to knit and doesn't take too long to knit. The technique in My so called scarf was fun to knit. I might knit a couple of Bainbridge scarf for Christmas presents this year as well. Easy to knit and they look great.

I'm so lucky. My SP 11 have sent me the most incredible gift. Of course I've already eaten the snacks she sent me. If you look closely at the picture, you can see that the bag of corn nuts was opened before the picture was taken. Something is just so good it has to be eaten right away. I've never tried any of the sorts of yarn I got, but I'm really looking forward to knit with it. I brought it with me to S'nB. They touched it, sighed longingly and touched it some more. Just like I do when I'm at home. It's just so soft. Whoever you are SP11, thanks a lot.
I have started another Nøstebarndress. This is for my nephew. It was a birthdaygift that was supposed to be done in April this year, but it's here now.
December is soon here. I have to be done with another Christmas calendar. My son have to have his own this year. I have embroidered a bit this week. I think I've come a bit. I haven't been working on it for too long.
I have knitted mittens again. No, I haven't managed to knit two right mittens with the Norwegian pattern yet. Instead I knitted a pair in a really chunky yarn. It's tempting to knit more, because it's really fast to knit with this yarn. I also knitted a headband for my son. Think I have enough yarn to knit him a hat as well. Soft and thick yarn, TopptTå. Never tried this yarn before, but I might try it again.
The yarn I used for the mittens and the headband, is a gift from

Another pair of pants for my little son. This one is knitted in mor Aase, wool.
I have knitted another mitten. Really it doesn't take that long to knit mittens to children and actually it's a lot of fun. Yes, there is the thumb, which I haven't knitted yet, but even the thumb should be easy. The thumb is not that big and it's not that much work. I'm very pleased with myself when I pick up stitches for the thumb, when suddenly I notice something strange.
It's two lefties I have knitted. That's how it turns out when you're knitting without thinking and forget to knit the thumb on the opposite side on mitten number two. How is it possible? Now I suddenly remember why I don't care too much about knitting mittens. It has happened a couple of times before. I can knit two mittens, but three??? That's pushing it too far.
Got tired of knitting mittens and started embroidering the Winnie the Pooh calendar instead.
I have to show you this neckwarmer I knitted, since I said I would knit one this week. Another Christmas present and knitted in Juvel wool yarn.
I have finished the pants for my son. It turned out pretty nice. I had some leftovers, so I figured out that my little son needed mittens in the same yarn. This mitten still lacks a thumb and a partner, but it's kind of cute though. So small mittens are so cute. And I don't have to use a lot of time knitting them. I'll knit the other one during tonight or tomorrow night.
The Harry Potter-scarf is finished. I have to weave in threads. It's a Christmas present. I am so pleased with the scarf, that I think I'm going to knit one for myself as well. Long, thick and soft, and I think a big scarf is a great thing for me. I'm always cold. The scarf is knitted in Viking sportsgarn. It's new yarn and I haven't used it before. It's soft and 100% superwash wool.
I have bought myself a new wool winder. Actually it's almost a week since I got it, but I haven't had an opportunity to try it until today. Amazing thing, the wool winder. So easy to wind up yarn. Can't believe I haven't bought one earlier. Now I have the urge to wind up every skein I have, but maybe I should just start embroidering my Winnie the Pooh-calendar instead?
