Jeg får fortsatt ikke nok strikketid. Pensumlesing og oppgaveskriving stjeler strikketid fortsatt her. Men noe blir gjort. Her er sokkene jeg var halvferdige med i forrige innlegg. De er strikket etter innfallsmetoden. Garnet er Fabel og pinnene er 2,5 mm. De endte opp i str. 38, og blir nok en gave.

The discussion about racism still continues at Instagram. A place not really designed to have deep discussion with its logarithm which makes the feed a non-chronological one and makes it impossible to follow posts and answers. Anyway, it's an important discussion. Somebody are getting tired of the whole discussion, but a quick discussion doesn't solve the issue. The issue is exclusion of BIPOC and discrimination. It still continues even if somebody are getting tired of the discussion. Myself have little experience with racism, and compared with some of the stories shared on Instagram, I've got nothing. I don't doubt their stories. The question is always, what to do when the creative and great designers and indie dyers have a different political view than yourself? To compare it with #metto, annoying, since many of the great movies made starring actors accused of sexual harassment, but do I choose to support that kind of behavior or choose to ignore it? I think no matter what you choose to do, you have to be able to live with the choice you take. And it might be a vice thing to look into the matter before making a decision.
I still don't have enough time to knit. Studying and writing steal from my knitting time. But I have done something. Here are the socks I was halfway done in the last blogpost. I have knitted them after my own ideas in Fabel on needles 2,5 mm. They ended up in size 38, and might end up being a gift one day.
