Book releases are fun! Some are more fun than others. Just because the writer is such a great person! This book release was a bit more fun, since the writer, Marion Rindsem, is such a genuine nice and allright person, and she designs great hats. I remember when she knitted the Twitter-hats. I had to buy her book of course, and so many clever and great designs. I really like how she variated the decreases at the top of the hats. And as her editor mentioned in the interview with Marion, it's so fun to knit hats, since we just need to knit one. We have just one head, not two, like socks and mittens. I'm not ruling out hats on the needles in close future. I just have to finish some of my WIPs and orders first. I might end up knitting hats when spring and summer arrives or something. But, consider yourself warned, everybody gets hats for Christmas in 2017. And yes, I won as well. There was a raffle, and I had big troubles finding my lottery ticket. Just when I found it, they announced the first winning ticket and it was me. I won a hat from the book knitted by Marion, and two knitting books, not the Luer book on the photo. During the release a photographer took some photos, and I borrowed the photos from Cappelen Damm's Facebook page.
