What I bought in London

My husband and I hade five lovely days in London without the kids. So great to be a couple, enjoying life and forget about time and kids for a while. It's always busy in London, things are happening, always a lot of shops with a lot to shop, always a lot of people and always a lot of things I want to see and I promise myself it won't be long before I go to London again. I went to John Lewis. A lot of nice yarn there, and I am very happy they have a John Lewis in Glasgow. I'm going to Glasgow in a couple of weeks without husband and kids. I might buy more yarn then. This time I picked out four skeins of soft wool yarn. Have plans to knit scarves to the people working in the kindergarden with my kids to Christmas. I have already started on a Bainbridge scarf of one of the skeins.

Strikkeblader er så gøy å lese. Masse inspirasjon og oppskrifter, men dyre i Norge. Kjøpte fire i London, men fant ikke Vogue knitting.

Knitting magazines are fun to read. I always get a lot of inspiration, lovely pattern, but they are expensive in Norway. I bought four in London, but couldn't find Vogue knitting.

I have heard a lot of Loop through Hobbyboden, so I just had to pop in there. Loop is situated outside the typical touristarea in London, but I dragged my husband there. He found a pub close to Loop, while I was shopping. I was a really good girl and didn't shop that much. Check out this lovely sockyarn. It's handdyed in lovely colors. I just have to find a beautiful sock pattern for this yarn.

Look at this cute skein. It's so cute and small, about the size of a match box. It's so soft and so thin. I think I will knit a shawl or a scarf with it, or maybe just keep it to feel it for a while.

Ha en fin høst-helg!
