I finally have a system in my yarn stash, or should I say yarn collection? My closets are organized. The yarn is sorted after weight and fiber. I have three shelves with hand dyed wool yarn, two drawers with pure wool, a shelf with alpaca, three drawers with smaller balls of leftover yarn and four full plastic bags of yarn I'm going to either sell or give away. I cast on new projects all the time, and I don't really need to buy yarn for some years. Now I haven't put in all the small balls of yarn at Ravelry, but some are in there already and some not. My yarn weigh more than me. Maybe my goal should be to get the yarn stash under my own weight during 2020? I found some projects I had started and I didn't remember at all, but I frogged them.
One skein I had for a long while was a pink skein of Jade Sapphire in silk and cashmere. I think it was a gift, but I can't remember from who. It's so soft and I had to knit something right away. I ended up knitted a pink cowl. It's just so squishy and soft, and even though pink is not a color I use that much, this one is for me. It weighs 53 g.

Masse sjokolade. HippieHege
