(Midnight Summer Jam - Justin Timberlake)
It's been a really hot summer. In all of Europe. I have still knitted some. I just haven't been indoors. It's something you learn as a Norwegian. We don't have that much sun and hot weather, so once the sun comes out, we feel we are obliged to go outdoors. So, no time sitting inside this summer. And I don't complain. That is great! It only means I haven't had time to weigh up projects and write blogposts. Not that it matters too much. (I'm not going into the environmental issues and the poor farmers, it's another perspective of the summer.) Today is a grey day, one of the first in a really long time. One thing I knitted during the hot summer was Tegna. And I'm definitely not the only one. My feed on Instagram has been filled up with this top since early spring this year. I thought I had managed to find the perfect yarn for the summer top, Norneyarn. And Norneyarn is a great yarn, it waws just a lot warmer than I anticipated. The top is knitted during summer, but it's not a summer top. My Tegna is warm, and I'll probably use it during chilly fall days than warm summer evenings.
