Project Free the Needles continues! I thought for a moment I had 7 WIPs I had plans to finish. A quick count today showed 9 WIPs. I thought I had control ... well, not as much as I thought it seems. But it's not a two digit number, and I don't have that much to finish some of the projects. Well, a bit more than cutting the threads like yesterday's ankle socks. If I can finish 8 projects before New Year? I have no idea, but it's worth a try. The two projects I didn't remember to count were two projects I cast on in December, and really, they don't actually count since I cast on recently?! The goal for today is to frog one project and to finish one project. Guess which one I'll be frogging? Yes, I'm frogging the big yarn knot! It's just so boring to try to loosen up and wind up the yarn in such a big knot like that. But I will frog it. The yarn is bought in Rhinebeck at the Wool and Knitting festival, so I will absolutely use it for something else than a big knot. And the project I hope to finish today is the only secret project I'm knitting. It has a natural deadline, but I guess I can make that one. In my Christmas calendar I got another purple skein. I just love the color! And I will not cast on a new project with yarn from my calendar. I will not, I am going to wait until 2021. I will wait ... And in between knitting I am baking Christmas cookies and decorating the house for Christmas. It's getting close now.
