On The Beach

Hva er mer normalt enn å ta på seg Mariusgenser strikket i alpakka på stranda en vakker sommerdag? Sannsynligvis en haug med ting. Jeg fikk noen rare blikk fra folk på vei til stranda i shorts og singlet og bikini under. Det tåler jeg. Alpakka i 30 grader derimot, det tåler jeg dårlig. Alpakka er  varmt. Jeg var full av alpakka etter at genseren var tatt av. Og jeg burde vært smart og tatt bikinien under og hoppet i havet rett etterpå. Det blir hopping i havet snart, men da i bikini. Genseren er strikket på stranda og verandaen i omtrent 30 grader, men det er adskillig bedre å strikke med alpakka enn å ha på seg alpakka i den varmen.

What is more normal than to wear a Marius sweater knitted in alpaca on the beach a nice summer day? Probably a lot. I received some weird looks of surprise by people walking to the beach in their shorts and t-shirts with their bikinis under. I can take that. Alpaca in 30 degrees Celcius on the other hand, I can't take. Alpaca is warm. I was full of alpaca hairs after the photo shoot. If I had thought it through before going out to the beach taking the pictures, I would have worn my bikini under the sweater so I could have jumped in right after. I didn't. But I'm going to the beach again and this time wearing a bikini. The sweater is knitted at the beach and the veranda in about 30 degrees Celcius, but it's way easier to knit with alpaca than wearing it in that heat.
