(All Is Soft Inside - Aurora)
Fall can be beautiful. At least when the sun is shining and the trees show their autumn colours. It can be cozy with rain too. If I'm inside with a cup of tea, my knitting and maybe a book. Indoors in a camper with six kids and two other adults, well, that might be a bit ... intense?! No, actually, it went surprisingly well with nine people and one camper. The big family on a small fall vacation. One camping wagon, two big cars, six kids, three adults, three screens in average among the kids, three days and two nights, and I brought three knitting projects and zero paper books. I ended up casting on three knitting projects, knitted almost a pair of socks, broke a knitting needle, but two evenings where the kids volunteeringly switched their onling games with boardgames and card games. Yeah to old fashioned games! Indoor waterpark, rain outside, happy kids and an opportunity to sneak away for some knitting and listening to the new album by Aurora. Not too shabby! The new pair of socks are called Veslefrikk for adults designed by Bitta Mikkelborg. I used Fjord sock yarn from Hillesvåg. Ended up like these cozy socks in size 37-38, so they end up as a gift to someone.
