Again and again! For good or bad! Again time for knit night, and that's all good. Never wrong to meet other nice knitters for a good talk, knitting and food. It's been a while, and I join knit night again and again. Again January with New Years resolutions or challenges for a new year. Nothing wrong with that. I just had to finish a baby blanket before I could start working on my challenges for the year. I'll post a picture soon. I just need to block the blanket and find some daylight so I can take a picture. Anyway, tonight I finally had time to work on my WIPs. It is a month for finishing up projects, WIP War, freeing knitting needles or other funny name of a rather boring work. I brought with me two pairs of mittens and a pair of socks. All three projects were started before Christmas. One of the pairs of mittens only missed two thumbs before becoming an FO. Usually when someone knits a pair of mittens, you can knit two thumbs. Two mittens, two thumbs = one pair of mittens. Logical math! The only problem is when you knit something wrong and one of the thumbs end up being longer than the other. Then somebody needs to frog the thumb and knit it AGAIN. It might happen somebody is too busy talking to other nice knitters at knit night and ends up knitting something wrong and need to frog the thumb AGAIN! Logical math now tells me I've knitted four thumbs! Mittens!!! Obviously it's not supposed to be easy to knit two mittens with two thumbs and get a pair of mittens which actually fits a normal human being with one left hand and one right hand.
