Times are definitely changing, from a quite warm fall to the end of fall with rain, wind and colder weather. The colder weather makes me want to knit all the things. I suffer from startitis, I cast on everything. And I also have some orders as well. Not that I actually take knitting orders, but I'm saving up for a Rhinebeck trip next year, so some orders I do knit. Since the last time I wrote a post, I've been on a vacation in Holland. We went to Efteling, and I almost finished a pair of socks while we were there. Who says you can't knit in an amusement park? Lines are so much funnier when you knit. And I can tell you that knitting in a Small World and Dreamcatcher is totally fine. I didn't take a chance when riding the loop or a roller caster. Some place you have to draw the line, even for me. The bus trip was knitting time, no doubt. The rest of the sock, I knitted when we ate lunch out the next day. Turned out pretty nice too. I used Arwetta and needles 2,5, and the socks are for my daughter in size 36.
I can also tell you that they have yarn shops in Belgium as well. I found one in Antwerpen. A real nice one too, with a lot of Quince & Co. I didn't buy too much, but some souvenir yarn got to go home with me.
I finished another pair of socks as well. Plain vanilla socks in Fabel from Drops on needles 2,5 mm, size 38.
