I have knitted more Bainbridge scarves. I have used Jaeger Matchmaker and Wool Rich four ply, both bought in London. The yarn is quite thin about the gauge for Opal, it's soft and it doesn't itch. I'll probably buy more of both types when I go to Glasgow. These scarves are also Christmas presents.
The Christmas calendar is still growing. Now I have startet on the tree and on Tigger. I still have faith in finishing before 1st of December.

Burde kanskje vært strikket i gull?
Yeah, yeah, I can't say that the gold medal in the Norwegian soccer league is where it's supposed to be, but it's in Bergen this year. My husband is a Brann supporter so he's happy for the moment. Me? Not that much! I'm knitting my husband socks in his soccer team's colors, red and white. Should they have been knitted in gold yarn? No, better not overdo it. I'm really nice knitting them, since I'm a RBK supporter and their colors are black and white. But I better be nice to my husband since I'm leaving kids and the household to his command for five days. And besides, who knows how many skeins of yarn that want to bome home with me from Glasgow?
I have done a deal with Babsy. She needed some yarn and I needed two needlepincases. Look how great they are! I't so fantastic to finally have some sort of system. Thanks a lot, Babsy. A great deal.

My husband and I hade five lovely days in London without the kids. So great to be a couple, enjoying life and forget about time and kids for a while. It's always busy in London, things are happening, always a lot of shops with a lot to shop, always a lot of people and always a lot of things I want to see and I promise myself it won't be long before I go to London again. I went to John Lewis. A lot of nice yarn there, and I am very happy they have a John Lewis in Glasgow. I'm going to Glasgow in a couple of weeks without husband and kids. I might buy more yarn then. This time I picked out four skeins of soft wool yarn. Have plans to knit scarves to the people working in the kindergarden with my kids to Christmas. I have already started on a Bainbridge scarf of one of the skeins.
Knitting magazines are fun to read. I always get a lot of inspiration, lovely pattern, but they are expensive in Norway. I bought four in London, but couldn't find Vogue knitting.
